How Many?

How many comments do you think is a low comment giveaway? 50, 75. under 100? I used to just list giveaways with under 50 comments but 75 is still low. What do you think?
Thank you

I say under 100 is low comments. You still have a pretty good chance of winning.

I've entered a good bit of giveaways that have thousands and your chance of winning those are slim to none.

I'm pretty quick to enter as long as it's something I want and it's under 100 comments.

I agree that under 100 is low. Maybe blogs offer MANY multiple forms of entry, so 100 entries may only be like 10 people entering.

I agree that under 100 is low. But don't make more work for yourself. I appreciate all you do! :)

I also think giveaways with under 100 comments are low and offer a very good chance of winning. thanks!

Maybe you could have two categories - VERY low for under 50 and Low for under 100!??!

It also depends on what is being offered. Under 100 is GREAT if it's an IPad or a Nikon camera . . . not such a deal if it's a coupon for a yogurt or something.

I agree that sometimes under 100 is a great deal, if the prize is something valuable or there are 8 or more ways to enter. However, if there are 100 entries and everyone can only enter one time the odds of winning are pretty low. I'd say stick with 50 since most of the giveaways still have at least a few days before they close and will most likely get into at least the 75-100 entries range.
By the way, I love your blog!!!

It really depends on the item being offered - what it's worth and how badly I want it.

I'll possibly enter if there are less than 100 comments. But definitely enter if there are less than 50.

75 is low to me but if there are several different extra entries then 100 because sometimes only a few people have actually entered

I say under 100 is low :)

I like MellissaStuff's idea about having two categories. Personally, I think under 75 is more enticing than under 100, but it's really not that much of a difference.

Thanks for offering this type of blog!

Maybe it depends on what the item is - I like under 50 as the starting point, because once it's listed in link-ups like this more people will enter. If the grand total at the end of the giveaway is close to 100 that's a pretty good chance of winning. Thanks for all you - I appreciate the giveaways you list here! THANK YOU!
