Make Your Own Candy Kit Review and Giveaway

I love doing activities with my kids. Recently we received the Make Your Own Chewing Gum Kit from Glee Gum.

Make your own chewing gum with chicle, the sap of the Sapodilla tree that grows in the rainforests of Central America. Everything you need is included in this kit and it's easy! You can make your own gum on the stove or with a microwave. Great for class room activities, scout troops, birthday parties, home school, or after school groups. Adult supervision is recommended. Makes a great gift for kids (ages 8 & up)!
Inside each Make Your Own Chewing Gum Kit you'll find: chewing gum base (containing natural chicle), confectioner's sugar, corn syrup, natural cinnamon and cherry flavors, a pan for softening the chicle gum base, instructions and the story of chicle.
And it's really easy: Soften the chicle gum base, either in the microwave or on the stove. Then you add the sugar, corn syrup, and the flavor packets, knead it a little, and WOW! You've made your own gum!

Each Chewing Gum Kit makes enough for 50 pieces!

Teen, tween. toddler and mom all got to do a little something. We had fun and got a little messy this came with almost  everything we need we used a pop bottle for a rolling pen and a gallon ice cream bucket lid for to put our gum on. It was a little sticky but very fun. We made half cinnamon gum and half cherry. It came with a big bag of  of cinnamon , i wasn't sure if i was supposed to put it all in if I was doing half and half. I did I loved the cinnamon. It was the the best Cinnamon gum I have hever had. The next day my daughter was telling some friends that came over that she made her own gum and sharing it with them.

Glee Gum also has Make Your Own Chocolate Kit  and Make Your Own Gummies Kit.
These both look like fun family activities.

We also got to try some Glee Gum.
Glee Gum is all-natural, gluten-free chewing gum with no artificial coloring, flavoring, sweeteners nor preservatives. Glee Gum is the only gum in North America made the old-fashioned way, with chicle! Chicle is a natural tree sap harvested sustainably from the rainforests of Central America. Once all chewing gum was made with chicle, but today most gum is made entirely from synthetic stuff. Not Glee Gum! Glee Gum uses chicle because it is an eco-friendly way to help conserve the rainforest. Chicle is also what gives the gum such great, long-lasting chewing texture! Glee Gum is a “green” gum right down to the packaging, which is made from biodegradable, recycled cardboard. So chew with Glee, naturally!

It comes in SIX great flavors: cinnamon, peppermint, tangerine, bubblegum, spearmint, and triple berry. Glee Gum is the #1 healthy alternative to synthetic chewing gum and bubble gum! With no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners (no aspartame), or preservatives, it's easy to chew Glee-fully!
My favorite was the tangerine. I love that Glee Gum is all natural so I know what I am chewing on.

Seaweed is extremely nutritious. Some types of seaweed also have a unique capability: certain chemicals in them cause liquids to thicken and become gooey and gelatinous. One such chemical is called carageenan, and it is used in many foods to make them thicker and more stable at different temperatures. Now this might sound weird, but there are lots of times we want liquids to become thicker or even solid – like when making gummy candy, for example
