Zero Water Pitcher Review and Giveaway

My resolution this year is to drink 8 glasses of water every day for a healthier me. Bottled water really adds up in price and waste. I am trying to pay more attention to my footprint.
Zero water gives me clean water I can make at home.

Zero Water's patented ion exchange system, with five combined technologies provides the only filtered water that meets the FDA definition for purified bottled water.
When you buy a Zero Water filter pitcher we include a laboratory-calibrated water tester—called a TDS meter. TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids, and represents the amount of dissolved substances in parts per million in the water we drink. These substances can negatively affect the way your water tastes.
Unlike conventional gravity-fed water filters, Zero Water’s patented 5-stage ion-exchange filter delivers the only filtered water to measure absolute 000 on the TDS meter. Compare that to the level in your tap water, even after being filtered through the leading filter pitchers.

I took the TDS and tested my tap water it was 159. I rinsed my pitcher and filled the top. I waited why it got filtered. Then I pushed the button on the bottom and got ready to test my glass of water. It was not 000. I think i did not screw the filter on as well as I should have and some trickled out. It was a lot less tho.I love seeing my son my son drink this water and I and I know he getting pure water.

Things I love about the zero water pitcher.
I love the button spot on the bottom. Even my toddler can get his own glass of water and no spills.
I find the family drinks more water when it is cold. The pitcher fits in the refrigerator.
The zero water taste great at a good price
I love that it come with a tester i can test any water when ever i want.
cons
It does take a while for the filtered water , it is not instant.
"It takes time to give you high quality water. We regulate the flow to ensure the water has enough time to pass through each filtering stage and be cleaned thoroughly"
Buy it ~You can buy  Zero water at their site It is also sold at Target, Walmart, and other stores.

W in it ~ One Helping Mommys Win Reader will win a  Zero water Pitcher
To Enter ~ Go to Zero water and tell me something you learned. It could be a FAQ or another pitcher they carry just something to let me know you went to their site :)

Once you start using the ZeroWater unit, it only costs 50 cents per gallon to have purified-quality water! That's way cheaper then bottled water.

Depending on your tap water TDS depends on how long the filter will last. 40 gallons per filter that is pretty good.

I learned that Does the filter remove PVC?
PVC is a type of plastic and doesn’t leach out of the plastic into our system. Since our system is certified by NSF and has passed a leach test, there can’t be any plastic particles in our water. amypugmire@live.com
